Length: 2.9-3.1 mm
The most common host plant of Erythroneura aza is Grape. The species has has been recorded from Nebraska to West Virginia and from Louisiana to Georgia.
Other species in this large group have similar markings (for example, Erythroneura acuticephala and E. comes). Those two species, along with E. aza and many others, are members of the E. comes species group.
Male genitalia offer the surest route to a more certain ID, for those who need a more certain ID.
