Broad-headed Bugs resemble Leaf-footed Bugs, but have the head almost as broad and as long as the pronotum. Most are brownish to black. Adults are largely nocturnal, but nymphs appear active both day and night. Adults and nymphs feed on fruits and flowers of plants in the Aster, Nightshade, and possibly other families (Schaefer, 2004).
