Wingspan: 15 - 23 mm
In Urola nivalis the forewing has been described as silvery white, or satiny white. The hindwing (not visible in the photo) is translucent and often appears darker than the forewing. The trailing edge of the forewing has a brown spot.
Larvae of Urola nivalis feed on grasses (Covell, 2005).
